The Difference in One Frame

Same surface, same angle, same lighting — photographed before we start and again once we finish.

Front Entry Walkway

Poured concrete walkway
BeforeConcrete walkway beside a brick home darkened by organic growth before pressure washing
AfterThe same concrete walkway cleaned to an even light gray finish after pressure washing

Years of organic growth had darkened the whole run. A rotary surface cleaner takes it back in even passes, which is what stops a walkway drying out striped.

Curved Path to the Front Door

Concrete path and step
BeforeCurved concrete path to a brick house covered in dark organic staining before cleaning
AfterThe same curved concrete path cleaned back to bare concrete after pressure washing

A shaded curve that stays damp long after rain, so growth returns here before anywhere else on the property. Cleaned edge to edge, including the border against the beds.

Driveway Apron and Garage Slab

Driveway apron and walkway
BeforeDriveway apron and walkway outside a garage, heavily soiled before pressure washing
AfterThe same driveway apron and walkway cleaned to an even finish after pressure washing

The apron in front of a garage takes the heaviest traffic on a property and shows it first. Cleaned along with the adjoining walkway in the same visit so the finish matches.

Walkway Along the Frontage

Concrete sidewalk
BeforeLong concrete walkway running past a brick home, darkened with buildup before cleaning
AfterThe same long concrete walkway after pressure washing, clean from edge to edge

A long straight run beside the lawn, where clippings and irrigation overspray build a dark film along both edges. The edges are the part a quick rinse always misses.

Driveway at the Street Approach

Concrete driveway
BeforeConcrete driveway meeting the street, stained with road film and traffic marks before cleaning
AfterThe same concrete driveway cleaned to a uniform finish after pressure washing

Tire marks and road film concentrate where a driveway meets the street. Worked in overlapping passes so the full width dries to one tone instead of a patchwork.

How an Exterior Clean Works,
Step by Step

From the first walk of the property to the last pass, here is what actually happens and why each step is there.

01

Estimate and Surface Assessment

We look at the property, identify every surface and its condition, and work out the method for each. That includes flagging anything that will not fully come out, before we quote, not after.

02

Protecting Plants, Electrical and Fixtures

Plants and beds get soaked with plain water first, so the first thing they take up is water rather than product, and they get covered on hot days. Outlets, meters and exterior fixtures are taped. This step is the difference between a clean house and a clean house with a dead hedge.

03

Chemical Application and Dwell Time

The cleaning solution goes on at low pressure and is left to work. Dwell time is what actually does the cleaning, and it varies with temperature — the same mix works faster on a warm afternoon than it does in January. Rushing this step is the most common reason a wash comes out patchy.

04

Rinse and Post-Treatment

Everything is rinsed at a pressure appropriate to the surface. It is the step you cannot see, and it is why a professionally cleaned driveway stays clean for months rather than weeks.

05

Final Walkthrough

We walk the property with you before we pack up. If something needs another pass, it gets another pass.
